Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Overview


Blackmagic Design has upped the ante in compact movie-style capture with their Super 35 Sensor Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. The BMPCC6 can not only record up to 50 fps 6144 x 3456 video, it also features a Canon EF mount for lensing everywhere, allowing users to take advantage of a wide array of EF-mount lenses.

 Rotate BMPC6 to capture rich, detailed footage with your favorite EF-mount lens, to crop one frame into two, by cropping a second shot from one frame. The same internal color processing makes it easy to intercept BMPCC6 with BMPCC4K footage. Record using internal CFast 2.0 and SD / UHS-II card slots, or output via USB-C port to capture long clips on the external drive. BMPCC 6K includes a DaVinci Resolve studio license and supports Blackmagic raw capture from the sensor. Using raw metadata with the sensor's metadata simplifies editing for any project, and makes editing easy with Dovinci Relve.

 
The compact BMPCC6K retains the familiar controls and menu layout of the 4K version in a minimal way to accommodate the mount of the EF lens. ISO support from BSMPC 4K, 13 stops up to 25,600, 13 stops in dynamic range, 3D LT lot support, four microphones, a 1920 x 1080 bright 5 "LCD screen and professional audio support with four microphones. Or shooting fashion, the compact form of the BMPC6K is less distinct than larger cameras, lending itself to more intimate setups.

In addition to the Davinci Resolve Studio Activation Key, the BMPC6 comes with power supply, an LP-E6 battery, a lens port cap and a camera strap.
